I bought this rocket last year. And I got my level two with it. On my first attempt. I used a J350W with a ten second delay. It was the perfect flight. The pml piston you can either use or discard and just use nomax. I personally used it. As it being new to me I wanted to try it out. I sanded the piston so that when you turned the rocket upside down. The piston would slowly fall out when you shook the rocket. It worked great! However if you wish to use the piston. You must look at this deployment method. As something that needs upkeep. If you before every flight make sure the walls of the rocket are clean from debri. And also lightly sand the piston to keep it clean. It will give you many great flights. As well as ejections. Overall this is a fantastic rocket.It is one of my personal faverates.
